Public Economics (Undergraduate)
Theme: Economics of the Public Sector
This class provides students with an understanding of the resource allocation problems in economies with public goods and externalities by using microeconomic models.

The objectives of this class are to learn specialized knowledge in public economics and to acquire the skills to logically analyze real world issues based on economics.

Seminars (Undergraduate)

We study public economics, mechanism design, and market design. We consider situations where the market mechanism cannot achieve efficiency (and/or fairness). Using microeconomics and game theory, we investigate public policies and alternative resource allocation mechanisms in the situations.
