Lectures and Seminars
Teaching Experience
Environmental Policy
This lecture explains “economic instruments of environmental policy,” which are policy tools that utilize market mechanisms to reduce environmental impacts, and “economic evaluation of environmental policy,” which assesses environmental policies from a cost-effectiveness perspective. Environmental policies aimed at achieving decarbonization, a circular economy, and coexistence with nature will be discussed as examples.
Seminars (Undergraduate)
This course will not be offered in the 2026 academic year.
Seminars (Graduate/Postgraduate)
Students will acquire the skills necessary for writing a master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation in environmental economics. During the first year of the master’s program, students study texts and papers to learn the analytical methods necessary for thesis writing. In the second year, students report on their research progress and ultimately complete their thesis. Doctoral students receive guidance on conference presentations and paper submissions.
