"The 5th Annual International Conference on Applied Econometrics in Hawaii" will be held on September 17-18.
We will hold our annual International Conference on Applied Econometrics in Hawaii on September 17 and 18.
Distinguished researchers from Kobe University and four other universities will get together and discuss their newest research topics. This year we invite Professor Timothy Halliday from the University of Hawaii at Manoa to give us a keynote speech. He is an empirical microeconomist who has done an extensive research on health and labor economics. He is the Chair of the Department of Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
From the Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University, Professor Noritsugu Nakanishi, Professor Tomoko Kinugasa, Professor Kenji Takeuchi, Associate Professor Kazufumi Yugami, Associate Professor Jun Goto, Assistant Professor Junichi Yamasaki will participate in the conference, as well as two doctoral students chosen as delegates on the Project for Promotion of Global Human Resources Development.
