Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics shall conduct education and research, designed to foster a rich awareness by imparting extensive information, advancing humankind's knowledge of economics, and developing such knowledge in a creative manner. As such, its goal is to develop talented individuals who possess a high degree of technical knowledge in economics and many other academic fields, as well as have outstanding logical thinking, a broad education, a spirit of cooperation, an international perspective and who render valuable services for the good of all society and are ready to pursue a career in the global community. Graduate School of Economics
1. The Graduate School of Economics shall provide education and research which are designed to contribute to progress in economics and the welfare of humankind by advancing its knowledge of economics and developing such knowledge in a creative manner.
2. Its objectives for cultivating human resources in the Master's and Doctoral Programs are as follows:
(1) Master's Program
To develop the capability to conduct research in economics and the outstanding skills necessary to take up an occupation that requires an advanced level of expertise by imparting profound learning from a broad perspective.
(2) Doctoral Program
To foster the advanced level of research capabilities necessary to independently conduct research in economics and engage in highly specialized occupations and the rich knowledge that forms the foundation of such capabilities.
